The already strong lineup of Restaurant Business podcasts just got a lot stronger with the addition of the politics-centric “Working Lunch” show.
The podcast is produced by the public affairs firm Align Public Strategies and features Managing Partner Joe Kefauver and Partner Franklin Coley discussing issues of importance to the restaurant industry.
The podcast will focus primarily on political and other topics. This week, for instance, Kefauver and Coley discuss a wide range of issues, including the public pushback against vaccine mandates by In-N-Out, McDonald’s pay equality, wages, the Virginia governor’s race and other topics.
The two present the issues in a context that matters to restaurant operators.
Align is a public affairs and creative firm that works with corporate brands, governments and nonprofits. It does considerable work within the restaurant industry.
Kefauver worked with Wal-Mart and with Darden Restaurants before he started Align, while Coley worked in numerous candidate and issue campaigns and worked with former U.S. Labor Secretary Elaine Chao and U.S. Sen. Mel Martinez.
The podcast will appear weekly on Monday mornings on Restaurant Business. Please have a listen.
