I’m sorry to say I don’t know of a video showing Jacob in action. But if you leave him your request on his website, maybe one of these days we will get one!!

What a blessing for us.

While his description is wonderful, perhaps he’s made a video of himself at work too. Do you know if thete is an instructional video? Getting to a workshop would be a physical challenge.

I did it on the cardboard backing of a Canson’s watercolor pad primed with Artspectrum pastel and multimedia sanded primer in the color Aubergine. It’s a beautiful dark grayish purple perfect for contrasting the bright colors! I used Rembrandt artists pastel as they are harder and lay down thinly then I built up to more buttery, velvety softer pastel like Jack Richeson artist’s hand-rolled pastels and SpectraFix workable fixative with Casein spray as it’s the only brand that doesn’t change my colors after it’s completely dried!
